If you follow the steps below, you’ll have your first usable copy asset within 30 minutes.

Before You Start: A Simple Mindset

CopyPower AI works best when you:

  • Start small
  • Make clear decisions
  • Improve through iteration

You are not trying to “set everything up perfectly.”

You’re creating a working foundation you can refine later.

Minute 0–5: Add Your Brand Voice

Start by telling CopyPower AI how you want to sound.

Go to Brand Voice and create one brand voice using:

  • A clear tone (calm, direct, confident, etc.)
  • A simple writing style (clear, conversational, concise)
  • A short list of words or phrases to avoid

Don’t overthink this.

Your brand voice can be edited anytime.

Goal:

Give the system enough guidance to avoid sounding generic or off-brand.

Minute 5–10: Add One Customer Persona

Next, define one specific type of customer.

Go to Personas and create a single persona.

Focus on:

  • Who this person is
  • Their role or situation
  • What they’re trying to improve right now

You don’t need multiple personas yet.

One clear persona is better than five vague ones.

Goal:

Make sure the copy is written for someone real, not everyone.

Minute 10–15: Add One Offer

Now tell CopyPower AI what you’re selling.

Go to Offers and create one offer.

Keep it simple:

  • Product or service name
  • What problem it solves
  • The main outcome
  • Pricing or commitment level

You’re not writing marketing copy here, just defining the offer clearly.

Goal:

Minute 15–20: Create a Project

Before generating a copy, create a Project.

Go to Projects and create a project related to what you’re working on right now — for example:

  • A landing page
  • A campaign
  • A content initiative

Choose the same brand voice you just created.

Goal:

Give your work a home so assets stay organized from the start.

Minute 20–30: Generate Your First Asset

Now you’re ready to generate your first piece of copy.

Inside your project:

  1. Click Create Asset
  2. Choose an asset type (email, landing page, LinkedIn post, etc.)
  3. Select:
    • Brand Voice
    • Customer Persona
    • Offer (if applicable)
  4. Fill in the asset-specific inputs
  5. Click Generate

Within moments, you’ll have a complete draft designed to do one clear job.

What to Do After Your First Asset

Once your first asset is generated, pause for a moment.

Ask yourself:

  • Does this feel directionally right?
  • Does it sound like it’s written for the right person?
  • Is the intent clear?

If the direction is right, but execution can improve:

  • Use the Asset Improver box

If the direction is wrong:

  • Adjust the inputs and regenerate

What You Don’t Need to Do Yet

In your first 30 minutes, you do not need to:

  • Create every persona
  • Add every offer
  • Optimize endlessly
  • Make the copy perfect
